When you are chubby, shopping is pure torture. At least it has been for me. But when you are losing weight? Shopping is much, much, much more fun. It isn't that I am tiny or anything. It is just that you can try on clothes and feel like you look okay. That is a pleasure.

This was me trying on new clothes the other day. I am in size 22 or 24. Still huge. But better. A significant notch in the chain of looking and feeling better.

I love that shopping actually sounds exciting now.
