Pantry 101
I think one of the most confusing things about eating Paleo/Primal is how it revamps your pantry, your staples, your buying habits. I think it is the biggest stumbling blocks for many of us as we try to eat better. Here are few things that I keep in my pantry to make sure I can make a successful meal. (This idea was sparked by Sarah Fragoso's list in her cookbook Everyday Paleo. Check out her website at everydaypaleo.com.)

- coconut butter
- olive oil
- Real Salt
- Real Salt Seasoning
- almond butter
- balsamic vinegar
- canned wild salmon
- canned kipper
- canned tuna
- sweet potatoes
- yellow, white, red onions
- as many spices as possible!
Fridge:
- eggs
- So Delicious Coconut Milk
- heavy cream
- butter
- Dijon mustard
- coconut flour
- almond flour
- almonds/sliced almonds
- pecans
- walnuts
- hazelnuts
- cashews
- spinach
- spring lettuce mix
- romaine lettuce
- kale
- scallions
- shallots
- garlic
- apples
- lemons/limes
- avocados
- Applegate deli meats
- as many in season vegetables/fruits as you want for the week
Freezer:
- broccoli
- cauliflower
- green beans
- mixed veggies
- blueberries
- blackberries
- raspberries
- peaches
- chicken
- ground turkey
- ground beef
- pork sausage
- bacon
- salmon
- sole, tilapia, scallops, shrimp
